You are not overdressed for summer. You are dressed in the wrong material.

Polyester in July is a plastic bag you agreed to wear. It traps heat, holds sweat, and leaves you damp by noon. Not in the Mediterranean.

Here, summer clothing is simple. A linen shirt. Cotton trousers. Sandals. Nobody curates thirty interchangeable pieces. They keep a few that breathe.

One Habit

Read the label. Before you wear anything in the heat, check the fabric. Linen, cotton, light wool — yes. Polyester, nylon, acrylic — no.

Where the cloth ends, the sun keeps working. A daily layer of sunscreen covers what linen cannot.

This is not fashion. It is living with the sun instead of fighting it. Natural food, natural movement, natural cloth. The Mediterranean does not optimize. It returns to what works.
